Jr Maintenance technician

About the Role

Vanderlande is seeking a Jr Maintenance Technician to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves performing essential maintenance duties and responding to reactive calls for Material Handling Systems. The primary objective is to ensure optimal productivity, output, equipment asset availability, health and safety compliance, and overall quality of operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties on Material Handling Systems to ensure continuous productivity and output.
• Respond to reactive calls promptly to address system issues and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various machinery and electrical equipment.
• Work with equipment such as motors, electrical circuits, ATR systems, baggage handling equipment, and conveyor systems.
• Execute tasks in strict accordance with diagrams, electrical drawings, operational manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
• Utilize hand tools and precision measuring and testing instruments for diagnostics and repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant maintenance or technical role.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical diagrams, electrical drawings, and operational manuals.
• Experience with Material Handling Systems, including conveyor systems and baggage handling equipment, is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of electrical circuits and motor operations.
• Skilled in using hand tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Familiarity with ATR systems is an advantage.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, covering sites in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires on-site presence to manage and maintain critical material handling infrastructure.
