The Logistics & Supply Chain Operations Lead will oversee regional fulfillment, fleet dispatch, and supply chain execution across the Western Province. Based in Jeddah, this full-time role serves as a crucial link between local ground operations and central teams at the Riyadh HQ, managing high-volume bulk cement logistics, transporter networks, and KSA regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily logistics and dispatch operations for the Jeddah region, supervising the regional operations team (coordinators, helpers) to ensure efficient task completion.
• Manage warehouse, fleet, and fulfillment activities within the region.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the Jeddah operations team and central teams (Riyadh HQ, product, sales, procurement, finance), fostering cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure regional operational activities align with company goals and strategies.
• Mentor, train, and support regional coordinators and helpers, ensuring adherence to operational standards.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to meet operational demands and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, transporters (including third-party bulker fleets), and service providers in the Western region.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards across regional operations.
• Identify operational risks (supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, resource shortages) and develop contingency plans.
• Contribute to operational strategy development, focusing on long-term goals and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in creating and managing the regional operational budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.

Delivery and Process Management

• Oversee the full delivery lifecycle on the BRKZ platform (BOB), including scheduling, vehicle assignment, and on-time closing of deliveries and orders.
• Manage high-volume bulk cement operations, including multi-truck orders, quantity splitting, and exceptional-quantity official deliveries specific to the Jeddah region.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of Fasah permits, delivery notes, and transportation cost entries, recording them per company standards.
• Ensure prompt assignment of deliveries to transporters upon document receipt to avoid delays.
• Analyze regional workflows to identify areas for improvement, driving continuous process enhancement and cost control.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and operational guidelines for the region.
• Champion the adoption of new tools and automation (unified delivery schedule, AI-assisted workflows, bulk assignment features) within the regional team.
• Monitor regional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and generate operational performance reports for senior leadership.
• Utilize operational data and dashboards (*, Metabase) to track deliveries, transporter costs, and team productivity, identifying trends for data-driven decisions.
• Use analytics to forecast demand, plan resources, and manage regional operational capacity.
• Ensure operational processes meet customer expectations and resolve issues affecting customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in operations, with a preference for logistics or supply chain roles.
• Strong preference for experience within the construction or building materials industry.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, ideally with experience managing distributed field teams.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Jeddah.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Analytical and data-driven approach, with comfort using dashboards, trackers, and operational reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly under pressure.
• Excellent communication proficiency in both Arabic and English.
• Knowledge of KSA transport regulations, permits (*, Fasah), and the Western Province logistics landscape.
