About the Machine Operator Role

Unilever Arabia is seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join its team in Jeddah. This role is essential for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery, primarily within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality product output, smooth and efficient machine operation, and proper maintenance.

Core Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety, health, and quality regulations.
• Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to the supervisor.
• Set up machinery for operation.
• Start and adjust machinery as necessary to improve performance.
• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance.
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.
• Inspect parts using precision and measuring tools.
• Fix issues that may occur during the shift.
• Check output to identify any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Maintain activity logs.
• Compound or process ingredients or dyes according to formulas.
• Read work orders to determine production specifications or information.
• Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times.
• Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment.
• Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a machine operation role, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery.

Work Conditions

This full-time position in Jeddah requires a willingness to work in shifts to support continuous operational needs.
