About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Manager - FWA AI Engineer to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role focuses on designing, building, testing, and deploying AI solutions to support Fraud, Waste & Abuse (FWA) detection and investigation. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose and Context

The FWA AI Engineer is responsible for translating approved business requirements and data science models into scalable production solutions. This involves integrating AI capabilities into operational workflows while ensuring reliability, performance, and business value. The role collaborates closely with the FWA Lead, FWA Data Scientist, investigators, and business stakeholders to implement and continuously enhance FWA AI use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the technical feasibility of approved FWA use cases, evaluating data availability, technical requirements, and implementation complexity.
• Define solution approaches for AI-driven FWA detection, developing technical requirements and implementation plans, and recommending optimal AI techniques and technologies.
• Build and optimize AI solutions for FWA detection and investigation, translating models into scalable cloud-native solutions on GCP.
• Implement machine learning, anomaly detection, graph analytics, and document intelligence solutions, developing necessary APIs, scoring services, and integration components.
• Deploy AI solutions into operational environments, integrating AI outputs with internal systems and workflows, and coordinating with Data Engineering and TIDES (IT) teams.
• Conduct technical testing of AI solutions, support user acceptance testing, validate output accuracy and performance, and resolve implementation issues.
• Support ongoing enhancement of deployed FWA AI solutions, implementing model improvements, addressing technical issues, and incorporating new capabilities and requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to design, build, test, and deploy AI solutions.
• Experience with cloud-native solutions, preferably on GCP.
• Familiarity with machine learning, anomaly detection, graph analytics, and document intelligence.
