We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to be a part of our Supply Chain unit in the Frozen Solution business sector.

Job Purpose:
As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all production equipment and installations to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all Safety, Environment, and Quality instructions.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to the master schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery breakdowns.
• Monitor production equipment throughout operations.
• Record daily, weekly, and monthly checklists as instructed.
• Maintain and ensure the functionality of safety devices on all equipment.
• Prepare daily reports on operational conditions.
• Organize and manage maintenance workshop tools and documents.
• Collaborate with various departments for scheduled maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Advanced intermediate or intermediate diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of process industry maintenance management.

Job Purpose
Responsible for maintenance and repair of all production equipment and installations to ensure that proper upkeep of production installations.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure that all the time he respects all Safety, Environment and Quality instructions set by the company management.
• Performing preventive maintenance tasks as per description sheet and according to master schedule.
• Performing troubleshooting and breakdown repairs to production machines.
• Ensure that fully following up and monitoring of production equipment’s in all production time.
• Care with the work qualities as company standard.
• Fully respect and carefully record all daily, weekly, monthly checklists set by his section head.
• Ensure that all safety and protection devices of all equipment are in place and operational.
• Daily report in the logbook of the shift condition.
• Ensure proper usage and arrangement of all documents (manuals, diagrams, data sheet) as well as Mechanical tools and measurement and calibration tools.
• Follow up cleaning and arranging the mechanical maintenance workshop.
• Take responsibility for and ownership of the problem until it is solved.
• Reports to his boss any abnormal issues that might affect performance of the operation.
• Coordinates with various departments for the proper scheduling of maintenance activities to support efficient factory operation.
• Actively support all management programs in Continuous Improvement, regular audits and improvement team formation.
• Renders other jobs as maybe required by superiors.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Advanced intermediate or intermediate diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in the field of mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing facility
• Process industry maintenance, line and non-line management

• Ensure the daily cleaning and maintenance for mechanical workshop
• Ensure preparing the daily reports to the section head
