About the Role

Aggreko is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Operational Buyer to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for executing and controlling the KSA purchase-to-pay cycle, ensuring all procurement processes run smoothly from initial request review through to payment closure. You will be instrumental in maintaining the seamless flow of operations that keep our customers' worlds powered, heated, and cooled without interruption. Aggreko provides essential power, heating, cooling, and oil-free air solutions for a diverse range of clients, from short-term world-class events to long-term mining operations and remote communities. As an Operational Buyer, you will play a key part in upholding our commitment to delivering "Power without pause."

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily reviews and respond to urgent stakeholder inquiries, validating all requirements including documentation, coding, and compliance before progressing requests.
• Manage the mandatory i2B Review Gate, ensuring WIPRO converts approved requests into M3 Purchase Orders and issues them to suppliers within agreed timelines.
• Expedite Purchase Order (PO) conversion, supplier acknowledgments, and overdue deliveries, actively resolving PO execution issues with WIPRO, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Handle urgent and manual PO exceptions strictly through approved channels, maintaining a clear audit trail and an exception log.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to confirm the receipt of goods and services, ensuring timely Goods Received Note (GRN) completion and resolving any delivery or GRN delays.
• Collaborate with the Finance department and other stakeholders to resolve three-way matching issues between POs, GRNs, and invoices, supporting the procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle through to payment processing.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess operational procurement and technical experience, ideally within a multi-site or regional operational environment.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of purchase-to-pay processes, encompassing requisitions, purchase orders, GRN, three-way matching, and payment coordination.
• Have working knowledge of procurement governance principles and practices.
• Experience utilizing ERP/procurement systems; experience with M3 and i2B is preferred.
• Exhibit the ability to effectively coordinate with outsourced PTP teams, suppliers, stores, operations, Finance, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain strong follow-up discipline and a keen attention to detail, with the capacity to manage urgent operational priorities effectively with minimal supervision.
