About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Reservations Supervisor for a full-time position in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all reservation processes, including room blocks, individual reservations, and group market codes. The supervisor will be responsible for reviewing and implementing reservation procedures and managing guest requests from initial contact through to resolution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee the accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
  • Review and implement new reservation procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
  • Identify guest reservation needs, determine appropriate room types, and verify availability and rates.
  • Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies clearly to callers.
  • Accommodate and accurately document special requests from guests.
  • Answer questions regarding property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
  • Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Input and access data efficiently within the reservation system.
  • Address and resolve challenges encountered when accommodating rooming requests.
  • Set up proper billing accounts in accordance with Accounting policies.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document guest issues and concerns, or escalate them to appropriate individuals.

Leadership and Operational Duties

  • Assist management in training, scheduling, counseling, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Serve as a role model and the initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure personal appearance and uniform are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
  • Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Read and visually verify information presented in various formats.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Reservations Supervisor position should meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • Experience: 0-1 years of relevant experience.
