Sales Executive, Delta Hotels by Marriott

Marriott International is seeking a Sales Executive to join the team at Delta Hotels by Marriott in Jeddah. This full-time role is responsible for maximizing revenue and fostering guest loyalty through effective sales techniques and service excellence. Delta Hotels by Marriott focuses on delivering a seamless travel experience for modern frequent travelers by providing essential needs and eliminating unnecessary elements, supporting its rapid global expansion.

Core Sales and Reservation Responsibilities

• Utilize sales techniques, including up-selling, to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
• Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
• Promote awareness of the brand image both internally and externally.

Guest Service and Communication Standards

• Contact relevant individuals or departments (*, Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) as necessary to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage, such as rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates.
• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and clearly, prepare and review accurate written documents, and use appropriate telephone etiquette.

Workplace Conduct and Team Support

• Perform general office duties to support the Sales & Marketing department, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
• Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model for professional conduct.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team efforts to achieve common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Read and visually verify information presented in various formats.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.
