Shangri-La Group is seeking a Service Associate Waiter to join their team at Shangri-La Jeddah. This full-time position is based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to both Makkah and Jeddah locations. The role focuses on creating memorable dining experiences for guests by adhering to Shangri-La Standards.

Role Responsibilities

The Service Associate Waiter is responsible for more than standard service duties; the role involves actively delighting guests and ensuring a memorable dining experience within the Food & Beverage outlets. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a thorough understanding of the menu and preparation methods of each dish.
• Providing informed menu recommendations to guests.
• Taking guest orders and serving food and beverages with attentiveness.
• Focusing on guest satisfaction and creating positive interactions.
• Preparing the restaurant area before service begins.
• Coordinating effectively with the culinary team to ensure timely guest service.
• Accurately processing and posting guest bills.
• Adhering to Shangri-La's Food Safety Processes and Procedures.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the success of the Food & Beverage outlet.
• Assisting supervisors in the smooth execution of meal services.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A minimum of 0-1 year of experience as a waiter, preferably within a 5-star hotel environment.
• Strong English language proficiency.
• Excellent conversational skills for engaging with guests.
• A positive attitude and a demonstrated willingness to learn.
