About the Role

Apparel Group is seeking a Store Manager to oversee operations in its Jiddah and Makkah locations within the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to achieving company objectives through the delivery of exceptional customer service, sales maximization, and the consistent upholding of brand standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader with a strong interest in fashion and demonstrated success in managing a retail environment effectively.

The Store Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, implementing operational procedures, and cultivating a positive and productive team atmosphere. This role requires a proactive approach to stock management, visual merchandising, and customer engagement, while ensuring adherence to security protocols and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve company objectives by ensuring retail staff provide superior customer service and possess the necessary skills and support to maximize sales.
  • Implement operating procedures at the store in accordance with company and Brand standards.
  • Promote the company's Loyalty Program to enhance customer loyalty and encourage repeat sales.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the Area Manager and Operations Manager regarding employee performance and product offerings.
  • Brief and guide staff on the achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and possess up-to-date product knowledge to minimize stock loss.
  • Stay informed about new products, trends, and fashion directives to effectively respond to and anticipate customer needs.
  • Manage stockrooms and ensure minimal stock loss.
  • Implement store operating procedures and ensure all staff adhere to brand and company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Apply creative techniques to achieve or exceed store sales targets.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Conduct weekly audits of store administration and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Manage the daily roster, leave, and grievances of retail staff.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards at the store at all times as per set VM guidelines.
  • Supervise the store and provide feedback to the Area Manager regarding employees and products.
  • Ensure constant awareness and vigilance regarding store security without any negligence.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of the various brands within the group to facilitate suggestive selling to customers.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for store operations.
  • Be physically capable of standing for extended hours and performing tasks involving moderate lifting.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in retail management.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a retail team.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and sales strategies.
  • Experience in managing stock and inventory.
  • Familiarity with visual merchandising principles.
  • Knowledge of brand standards and company policies.
  • Commitment to maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Awareness of security protocols in a retail environment.
  • Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting.
