Supervisor Avionics

About the Role

Alsalam Aerospace Industries is seeking a Supervisor Avionics to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing and coordinating all aspects of aircraft avionics maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair. The successful candidate will ensure that all operations adhere to approved technical procedures, GACA regulations, and aviation safety standards, while providing essential technical guidance to maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise avionics maintenance personnel, including daily task assignment, performance monitoring, and setting work priorities.
• Oversee the inspection, troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and repair of aircraft avionics systems.
• Ensure proper maintenance of aircraft communication, navigation, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Review work orders and technical documentation related to aircraft maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with approved aircraft maintenance manuals and GACA regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and instructions to avionics technicians regarding maintenance procedures and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Monitor the availability of required tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure avionics personnel comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and established maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure proper documentation of completed work.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions with relevant maintenance teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in avionics maintenance and supervision. A strong understanding of aircraft avionics systems, GACA regulations, and aviation safety standards is essential.
