About the Role: Supervisor Housekeeping

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a dedicated Supervisor Housekeeping to join its team in Makkah, with operational responsibilities also extending to Jeddah. This full-time position is essential for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within the hotel environment.

Role Overview

The Supervisor Housekeeping plays a critical role in overseeing daily housekeeping operations. This involves ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities meet stringent quality standards, coordinating efforts across various departments, and supporting management in team development and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities after cleaning to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Manage room status reports, verify room conditions, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning, and update statuses for departing guests.
• Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
• Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments to the team.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
• Ensure compliance with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance; uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others, fostering positive working relationships and responding appropriately to employee concerns.
• Complete required paperwork and effectively communicate issues to the next shift.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification is required for this role.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
• Proficiency in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
• Capability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Physical ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capacity to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Capability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight.
