We are looking for a team player to join us in providing genuine, heartfelt care to our guests, colleagues, and owners. In this role, you will be the first point of welcome, setting the highest standard of service from the moment a guest arrives. You will work with a friendly, motivated team to ensure everyone provides fast, professional, and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of the lobby and guest services area. Your specific duties include:
  • Guest Welcome: Receive guests in a professional and friendly manner, satisfying expectations from arrival through to departure. Greet all guests immediately upon arrival, offering assistance at all times.
  • Luggage Handling: Ensure that guest luggage is carried promptly and safely from the arrival point to the room, and from the room to the departure point upon checkout.
  • Information Services: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the hotel and local services (attractions, dining, transport), supplying information and responding to guest queries confidently.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with all related departments, particularly Front Office, to ensure smooth service delivery. Deal promptly, efficiently, and pleasantly with incoming calls.
  • Deliveries: Handle all messages, mail, and packages for guests and staff, ensuring they are delivered at the appropriate time professionally. Deliver morning newspapers and guest messages immediately without delay.
  • Lobby Maintenance: Regularly check the lobby area, ensuring it is clean, tidy, and presentable. Ensure the Concierge desk and storeroom are organized.
  • Systems & Admin: Maintain awareness of guest profiles through the Opera system. Receive registration cards from the Night Manager to be filed according to established procedure. Maintain the daily function board.
  • Upselling: Suggestively sell hotel promotions, outlets, and facilities at all times.
  • Teamwork: Cooperate in the performance of any reasonable task requested by management or guests. Establish and maintain good public relations.
