About the Role

Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance is seeking a B1 Instructor to join their team in Khamīs Mushayţ, 'Asir, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, fixed-term role is responsible for developing and delivering technical training to maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to the highest industry standards. The B1 Instructor will impart knowledge and practical skills related to H145 aircraft maintenance, contributing to the continuous professional development of the maintenance team. This position requires extensive technical expertise, proven instructional capabilities, and a commitment to integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and instruct On-the-Job Training (OJT) curriculum for new and advanced maintenance technicians.
• Create and utilize effective teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides for technical training courses.
• Directly supervise new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.
• Maintain training records in adherence to PSS/GSAC policies and procedures using Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Aircraft maintenance specialty or a recognized aviation training program (Minimum 2 years).
• EASA Part 66/ FAA License is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience (Military or Civilian) in H145 Maintenance.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Technical Instructor.
• Type rating in H145 by an approved organization from the OEM.
• Experience in developing and instructing OJT curriculum for both fresh and advanced maintenance technicians.
• Experience in developing teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides.
• Experience in directly supervising new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for maintaining training records.
• 3 years of experience in a technical writing position is preferred.
• Preferred qualification as a Level-7 in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training.
• Must possess an instructor qualification/course certificate from a recognized organization.
• For non-native English speakers, a minimum IELTS or equivalent is required, or English language skills will be evaluated during the interview.
• Working knowledge of office automation tools such as MS Office.
• All requirements and information in the CV must be proven by a copy of an official document.
• Must pass the PSS/GSAC interview (attended physically or online).
• Must pass the security clearance from the KSA government.
