About the Role

Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance is seeking a qualified B1 Instructor to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, fixed-term position is essential for developing and delivering technical training to maintenance personnel, ensuring adherence to the highest aviation standards. The B1 Instructor will play a key role in shaping the skills of maintenance technicians, contributing to the operational excellence of Airbus Helicopters' fleet. This role requires a strong technical background in aircraft maintenance, coupled with proven instructional experience and a commitment to compliance and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and instruct On-the-Job Training (OJT) curriculum for both new and advanced maintenance technicians in the respective field.
• Create and utilize effective teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.
• Directly supervise new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.
• Maintain training records in adherence to PSS/GSAC policies and procedures using Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance specialty or a recognized aviation training program in the respective field/specialty (minimum 2 years).
• EASA Part 66/FAA License is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience (Military or Civilian) in H145 Maintenance.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Technical Instructor.
• Hold a Type Rating in H145 from an approved organization by the OEM.
• Experience in developing and instructing OJT curriculum in the respective field for both new and advanced maintenance technicians.
• Experience in developing teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.
• Experience in directly supervising new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.
• Conversant with Microsoft Office Suite to maintain training records in adherence to PSS/GSAC policies and procedures.
• 3 years of experience in a technical writing position is preferred.
• Preferred to be qualified as a Level-7 in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training.
• Must possess an instructor qualification/course certificate from a recognized organization.
• For non-native speakers, a minimum IELTS or equivalent is required. English language skills will be evaluated during the PSS/GSAC interview.
• Working knowledge of office automation tools such as MS Office.
• All requirements and information in the CV must be proven by a copy of an official document.
• Must pass the PSS/GSAC interview (attended physically or online).
• Must pass the security clearance from the KSA government.
• Awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
