Role Overview: BMS Operator

As a BMS Operator, you will be responsible for supervising and controlling the operation of the building management system (BMS). This full-time role involves monitoring all plant activities related to the headquarters building services, ensuring efficiency and reliability. The position requires a professional who prides themselves on their ability to deliver high levels of customer service and provide effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide the maintenance supervisor with planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for implementation and manage the follow-up on these activities.
• Analyze the behavior of various plants with respect to their set points and configure the necessary control parameters within the BMS.
• Perform daily auditing of plant performance by utilizing the built-in facilities of the building management system, such as data logging, plant review, and alarm manager status.
• Analyze reasons for plant failure, provide specific diagnostics and problem analysis, and specify the necessary remedial actions for the supervisor’s approval.
• Utilize historical logged data from various plants to review system performance and propose improvements aimed at enhancing system efficiency, reducing operation costs, and improving services provided to customers.
• Program the BMS and PPM system, along with other critical plants (*, standby power generator, diesel-driven fire fighting pump, fire alarm system), for automatic periodic testing.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the BMS Operator position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires individuals who are detail-oriented and capable of understanding and managing complex building systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
