Concierge

About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Concierge to join their team in Makkah. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 year of experience who are dedicated to providing exceptional guest service and support within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services, such as transportation, reservations, or dry cleaning, by coordinating or identifying appropriate providers.
• Address special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure their satisfaction.
• Gather, summarize, and provide information to guests regarding property amenities and the surrounding area, including special events and activities.
• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Contact the relevant individual or department (*, Bellperson, Housekeeping) as needed to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Review shift logs and daily memo books, documenting pertinent information in logbooks.
• Monitor the club lounge to ensure seating availability, service quality, and the safety and well-being of guests.

Operational Standards and Safety

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management and complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.

Communication and Teamwork

• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
• Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
• Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support the team in achieving common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
