The Data Engineer Cloudera plays a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the Cloudera data platform to ensure its optimal operation and continuous data availability. The primary goal is to effectively manage and enhance data pipelines, while consistently ensuring compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the Cloudera data platform and associated data pipelines.
• Track the execution of both batch and real-time data processing jobs.
• Resolve data pipeline failures through thorough root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure data availability aligns with defined service level agreements (SLAs).
• Handle incident and problem management processes efficiently.
• Optimize existing data processes by implementing minor enhancements and necessary fixes.
• Ensure robust data quality and manage security protocols and access controls.
• Maintain comprehensive operational documentation for all platform activities.
• Collaborate effectively with infrastructure and governance teams to support platform operations.

Experience and Qualifications
