An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Electrician - Engineering to join the team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah Property

Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah is situated minutes from Masjid Al Haram, offering Arabian hospitality in the heart of the Holy City. The hotel is spread across four towers and features various dining venues, retail outlets, a gym, an executive lounge, and meeting spaces. Guests can experience views of the Grand Mosque and a culinary offering that includes Mediterranean, Persian, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian cuisines.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
• Diagnose electrical faults and perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Test electrical systems and components using specialized tools and equipment.
• Replace defective electrical components and wiring.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2 to 3 years of experience in an Electrician role within a luxury 5-star property.
• Secondary education is required; vocational certification and trade qualification are preferred.
• Strong technical skills in the electrical trade.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Knowledge of safety and building systems.
