About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a full-time Electrician to join its team in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah. This role is central to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, involving the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using various tools.

Core Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose malfunctions across electrical systems, apparatus, components, tools, and equipment.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
• Utilize testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to perform diagnostics.
• Test batteries in generators, emergency lighting, and similar systems.
• Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and adherence to the National Electric Code and local codes.
• Read and accurately follow blueprints and schematics.
• Respond to repair requests and execute preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and appliances.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition necessary parts and supplies.

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, including reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications, and ensure proper storage of flammable materials.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, actively listening and responding appropriately to concerns.
• Communicate professionally using clear language and prepare/review information accurately and completely across various formats.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: Not required for this position.
• License: Valid Driver’s License.
