Job Description

About the Role

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Engineer Sales to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for a professional with 5 to 10 years of experience in business development, marketing, and sales, specifically within the Western Region of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage pre-qualification and registration processes with new clients.
  • Conduct regular client visits to foster relationships and identify opportunities.
  • Achieve established sales objectives.
  • Submit weekly activity reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager.
  • Report on sales activities and progress using Sales Force.
  • Identify current and future customer service requirements by engaging with potential and actual customers.
  • Prepare and support the development of technical and commercial proposals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Business Development, Marketing & Sales experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia, specifically with Government Entities such as Development Authorities, Ministries, Municipalities, and Royal Commissions.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong technical knowledge of basic engineering disciplines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of clients and the Western Region Market, including key clients.
  • Skills in market analysis, business intelligence, research, and strategy.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the service offerings.
  • Commercial understanding of project costing and margins.
  • Proven proposal preparation skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with a positive attitude.

Work Context

This role is based in Makkah and involves significant engagement within the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. The focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with key government entities to drive business growth and achieve sales targets for Bureau Veritas.
