About the Role
SportPlex Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the company's financial operations and support strategic business objectives. This full-time position is based in the Makkah Region, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah.
Key Responsibilities
The Finance Manager will be responsible for a comprehensive range of financial activities to ensure the company's financial stability and growth. Key duties include:
- Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Developing and managing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitoring financial performance and providing analysis and recommendations to management.
- Managing cash flow, treasury activities, and working capital requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Coordinating internal and external audits and addressing audit findings.
- Implementing and maintaining effective financial controls and risk management processes.
- Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Supporting business planning, investment evaluations, and strategic decision-making.
- Developing and mentoring finance team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Liaising with banks, auditors, government authorities, and other external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of 5–8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including managerial responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
