About the Role

Jumeirah is seeking a Finance Manager – Finance to join the team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing all financial aspects of the property, ensuring compliance with Jumeirah standards and contributing to the overall business performance.

Role Context

Jumeirah Jabal Omar is located minutes from Masjid Al Haram in the Holy City of Makkah. The hotel features four towers and offers a range of amenities and dining experiences. As the Finance Manager, you will be integral to the property's financial operations, supporting its strategic objectives and ensuring efficient resource management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer all aspects of the property's financial management, including accounting policies, procedures, procurement, and legal/contractual matters.
  • Prepare and interpret financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with Jumeirah standards.
  • Manage budgetary control and drive the annual budgeting and forecasting processes to meet approved targets.
  • Lead the Finance team, focusing on performance improvement and talent development for succession planning.
  • Provide accurate business forecasts to optimize resource allocation and maximize business performance.
  • Deliver value-added business performance reporting to support operational improvements.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audit visits, maintaining positive relationships and proactively addressing audit issues.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with the apartment owner/owner’s representative to align business objectives and facilitate approvals.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A CPA or ACCA qualification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Experience within the hospitality industry is preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Experience in managing audits, compliance, and statutory requirements.

Work Environment and Compensation

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role offers an attractive salary, paid in Saudi Riyals (SAR).
