About the Role

SportPlex Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the company's financial operations and support strategic business objectives. This full-time position is based in the Makkah Region, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will be responsible for a comprehensive range of financial activities to ensure the company's financial stability and growth. Key duties include:

  • Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Developing and managing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Monitoring financial performance and providing analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Managing cash flow, treasury activities, and working capital requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinating internal and external audits and addressing audit findings.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective financial controls and risk management processes.
  • Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Supporting business planning, investment evaluations, and strategic decision-making.
  • Developing and mentoring finance team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Liaising with banks, auditors, government authorities, and other external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5–8 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including managerial responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
