The Irrigation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supervising irrigation systems within road and infrastructure projects. The role ensures efficient water management, sustainability, and compliance with engineering and environmental standards.

Your role
  • Design and develop irrigation systems for landscaping, roadside greenery, and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for irrigation requirements.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for irrigation works.
  • Select appropriate equipment, materials, and technologies for irrigation systems.
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of irrigation networks.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure efficient water usage.
  • Collaborate with civil engineers, environmental specialists, and contractors to integrate irrigation solutions into project plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and maintenance guidelines for irrigation systems.
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues during project execution.

About You
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Irrigation Engineering.
  • Proven experience in irrigation design and implementation within road and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, water distribution systems, and irrigation technologies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and irrigation design software.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of sustainable water management practices.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to efficiency and quality.
  • Effective time management to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
