About the Role

Hyper Lychee Labs is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager PMO for an onsite contract role based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a 6-month contract position, prioritizing immediate joiners who possess a valid work permit or transferable Iqama for Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in IT project and program management.

Role Overview

The IT Project Manager PMO will be responsible for establishing and running the IT Project Management Office (PMO) for a diverse portfolio of concurrent enterprise programs. These programs span critical workstreams including infrastructure, applications, and broader transformation initiatives, requiring robust governance and delivery discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run the IT PMO for a portfolio of concurrent enterprise programs across infrastructure, applications, and transformation workstreams.
  • Own governance, including RAID logs, RAG status reporting, and steering committee packs for senior stakeholders.
  • Manage project intake, prioritization, budgets, and vendor/contract performance.
  • Drive delivery discipline across distributed teams and proactively flag risks before they escalate.
  • Build executive dashboards and reporting suited for CXO-level consumption.
  • Partner with business units, enterprise architects, and system integrators to align delivery with strategic priorities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Solid IT project/program management background with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Enterprise-grade delivery experience, including managing large budgets, multi-vendor environments, and senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow PPM, or similar platforms.
  • At least one recognized certification: PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or ITIL.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is considered a plus.

Highly Valued Skills and Background

  • Exposure to the insurance industry, specifically in areas such as policy administration, claims, underwriting, or insurance regulatory/compliance systems (*, IFRS 17).
  • Familiarity with core insurance platforms like Guidewire or Duck Creek.
  • Prior program delivery experience within the GCC/KSA region.

Logistics and Work Authorization

This is an onsite contract role for a duration of 6 months. The start date is immediate, and candidates must possess a valid KSA work permit or a transferable Iqama to be considered for this position.
