Join Lucid Motors as a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer!

As the Maintenance Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our mechanical systems and equipment within the Body in White (BIW) lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on BIW mechanical equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize production interruptions.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures in alignment with OEM standards.
  • Coordinate with the dimensional engineer to establish the calibration plan for all jigs and fixtures within the BIW.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment in the BIW line.
  • Train and guide maintenance technicians on mechanical systems and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the automotive industry in BIW.
  • Hands-on experience with BIW equipment such as conveyors, torque tools, lifters, and robotic systems.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is beneficial.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong mechanical systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
