Join MALAMA as a Maintenance & Projects Engineer!
We are currently seeking a dedicated Maintenance & Projects Engineer to oversee daily maintenance operations and support fit-out and renovation projects across all our branches. This position is paramount in ensuring our stores operate efficiently while maintaining high standards.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities across branches.
  • Address daily maintenance issues promptly and ensure their resolution.
  • Supervise contractors, ensuring the quality of work meets standards.
  • Plan and support fit-out and renovation projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Coordinate effectively with suppliers and service providers.
  • Monitor maintenance costs and propose strategies for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Scope of Work Includes:
  • Branch maintenance (civil, electrical, basic MEP).
  • New store fit-out and renovations.
  • Management of contractors and vendors.
  • Maintenance planning and scheduling.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage or a similar environment.
  • Proven experience in maintenance and site projects.
  • Basic knowledge of MEP systems.
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage multiple sites effectively.
