About the Material Planner Role

Kerry, a global leader in taste and nutrition for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, is seeking a Material Planner to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah. The Material Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production and timely delivery to customers.

Role Overview

The Material Planner is responsible for proactively addressing and resolving any stock-out situations that could potentially impact production schedules or customer delivery commitments. This role is integral to maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within the KSA market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the resolution of stock-out issues to prevent disruption to production and/or customer delivery deadlines.
• Support and actively participate in the commercialization process for all new products introduced into the KSA market, from inception through to launch.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in material planning or a related supply chain function. A strong understanding of production processes and inventory management is essential.

Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and rectifying stock-related issues. Effective communication and collaboration abilities are necessary to work with various internal teams and support the new product introduction process. A methodical approach to planning and execution is also expected.
