The Role: Oracle Cloud Data Migration Consultant

TCS is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Data Migration Consultant to join its team in the Makkah region, specifically in Jeddah or Makkah cities. This full-time role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience, focusing on leading and executing complex data migration activities for Oracle Cloud implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data extraction, mapping, transformation, and validation activities.
• Build and execute migration loads utilizing FBDI, ADFDi, HDL (for HCM), and REST APIs.
• Develop comprehensive data templates, mapping sheets, and cleansing guidelines for business users.
• Coordinate effectively with functional, technical, and business teams to gather data requirements and secure necessary approvals.
• Perform mock loads, data reconciliations, and provide support for cutover and post-go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot data load errors and ensure the successful and auditable completion of data migrations.
• Contribute to strategizing the overall Data Archival strategy.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of professional experience in data migration, specifically with Oracle Cloud.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud data migration tools including FBDI, ADFDi, HDL, and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in Fusion data models and a good understanding of Oracle Cloud module data structures.
• Demonstrated experience with data validation, reconciliation processes, and managing large-volume migration cycles.

Essential Skills

• Good SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
• Excellent communication abilities to articulate complex data concepts and requirements.
• Strong collaboration skills for effective teamwork with business and functional teams.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with opportunities in both Jeddah and Makkah cities. The consultant will contribute to a dynamic global IT services environment, supporting critical data transformation initiatives.
