About the Production Manager Role

Libera Consultants is partnering with a globally recognized industrial manufacturing organization to recruit an experienced Production Manager. This role is central to leading production operations and driving the transformation and relocation of the company's manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The position is based in Makkah, with responsibilities spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This is a full-time opportunity for a professional with 5-10 years of experience.

Role Context and Objectives

This strategic leadership position is designed for a Lean Manufacturing professional focused on operational excellence, production optimization, and the establishment of a modern, high-performing manufacturing environment. The Production Manager will oversee significant operational changes, including a facility relocation and the implementation of advanced production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations across fabrication, welding, and assembly, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Drive the transition from a traditional workshop to a Lean Flow Production system, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee production planning, workflow optimization, resource allocation, and cost control to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping, focusing on waste elimination.
• Direct the end-to-end relocation of the manufacturing facility, encompassing factory setup, equipment transfer, commissioning, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement to ensure effective inventory planning, material availability, and local supplier development in Saudi Arabia.
• Establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes throughout production and facility transition phases.
• Lead, mentor, and develop production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience in complex manufacturing or industrial production environments.
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence, and production optimization.
• Demonstrated experience in production planning, cost control, and manufacturing process improvement.
• Previous involvement in plant relocation, factory setup, or greenfield manufacturing projects is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with operational scope in Jeddah and Makkah.
