About Match and the Role
Match is seeking a Quality Control Officer to join its team in the Makkah region. This full-time position is based across Jeddah and Makkah, focusing on ensuring product quality through rigorous analytical testing and adherence to industry standards.
Role Overview
The Quality Control Officer is responsible for performing comprehensive analytical testing on raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished products, and final products within the laboratory. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with IQ requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing for raw materials, semi-finished materials, and finished products, and submit all required reports.
- Collect and analyze data necessary for the preparation and development of technical specifications.
- Organize, store, and periodically verify the safety and quantities of all laboratory chemicals, devices, and tools.
- Conduct necessary testing for new raw and packaging material samples to confirm compliance with established specifications and report findings.
- Execute routine laboratory testing in adherence to the predetermined sampling plan to support finished product release and validation processes.
- Manage monthly inventory of lab consumables, initiate requests for out-of-stock items, and ensure the proper removal of expired or near-to-expire chemicals and consumables.
- Ensure the manufacturing of safe products by applying key Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles within the designated area of concern.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 5 years of experience in a quality control or laboratory setting, with a proven track record in analytical testing and compliance.
Technical Skills and Standards
- Proficiency in using various analytical instruments such as pH meters, conductivity meters, spectrophotometers, and densitometers.
- Strong understanding and practical application of IQ requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Work Setting
This is a full-time position within the laboratory environment, serving operations across Jeddah and Makkah in the Makkah region.
