We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic maintenance professionals who pride themselves on delivering extraordinary levels of customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair, maintain, and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems of the hotel - including freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chillers, etc.
• Maintain air-conditioning and refrigeration systems preventively within the hotel.
• Check the performance of refrigeration systems and components.
• Verify all door-closing systems on walk-in coolers/freezers (door gaskets/latches).
• Check and maintain all defrosting systems and automation of ice makers.
• Address maintenance requests from all departments.
• Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters.
• Cooperate with all engineering colleagues to detect failures of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Overhaul air-conditioning/refrigeration equipment and systems.

Qualifications & Experience:
Ideally, you should have a diploma in maintenance of refrigeration systems or in building services engineering with previous experience in a similar role and proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of the equipment. A good command of English and the ability to find faults and rectify subsystems are essential.

About The Job
An opportunity for an HVAC Technician – Engineering has arisen at Jumeirah Jabal Omar. The main duties and responsibilities include:

• Strong knowledge of HEX systems, refrigeration cycles, CRAC units, and HVAC control systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per approved schedules.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and operational condition of plant rooms and equipment.
• Comply with JEMS and FLHS standards.
• Maintain and service heating, cooling, AHU, FAHU, and FCU systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot ventilation and exhaust systems.
• Optimize system parameters for performance and energy efficiency.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

• A Technical Diploma / ITI in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Competence in Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical role.

Join Hilton as an AC/Refrigerator Mechanic!
As an essential part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining all refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment to ensure they are in excellent working condition through necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report to the A/C and Refrigeration Technician/Foreman regarding daily work progress and issues.
• Prioritize guest room trouble reports and address all refrigeration and A/C trouble reports daily.
• Collaborate with peers to implement preventive maintenance and annual maintenance programs.
• Follow safety rules and regulations at all times.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in air-conditioning or refrigeration installation or maintenance.
• Proficient practical trade skills in fabrication, installation, and maintenance.
• Experience in hotels or hospitals is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret Building, Air-conditioning, Refrigeration, and Electrical drawings.
• Good fault-finding and repair skills for air-conditioning, refrigeration, and control systems.
