Sales Supervisor

About the Role

People, Jobs, and News is seeking a Sales Supervisor to join their team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing sales operations and achieving performance targets within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sales forecasting activities and establish performance goals.
• Meet with key clients, support sales teams in relationship management, and assist with deal negotiation and closure.
• Prepare periodic sales reports detailing sales volumes, potential sales, and proposed client base expansion areas.
• Analyze and control retail sales expenditures in the region to align with sales budget requirements.
• Work to reduce customer complaints and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Manage communication between retail sales and other organizational entities to estimate delivery dates for customers.
• Oversee the preparation of sales contracts and proposals in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with the ICT department regarding Hand-Held Terminal (HHT) matters, including device updates, provision of new devices for salespersons, and resolution of HHT database and reporting issues.
• Administer retail sales route activities in the region, such as planning, creating new routes, and merging or closing unprofitable routes.
• Supervise the operations and analyze the performance of stores and depots in the region, including conducting periodic site visits.
• Monitor the cleanliness and appearance of sales vehicles in accordance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in a related field, with a preference for bakery or FMCG experience.
• Experience within Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of retail sales strategies.
• Professional understanding of sales tools, techniques, and forecasting methods.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Jiddah and Makkah regions of Saudi Arabia, requiring active supervision and management of sales operations across various sites.
