About the Account Director Sales Role

WebEngage, a leading enterprise-grade customer engagement and retention platform, is seeking an experienced Account Director Sales to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on driving revenue and managing key enterprise accounts within the Saudi Arabian market. WebEngage empowers global brands across various industries, including e-commerce, fintech, and travel, to leverage data for measurable revenue impact. Key Responsibilities

The Account Director Sales will be responsible for managing top enterprise accounts and driving significant revenue growth. This includes managing existing business, identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within assigned accounts and group accounts, and developing strategies for large enterprise clients. Key duties involve:

  • Managing and growing top enterprise accounts to achieve revenue targets.
  • Driving cross-sell and up-sell initiatives within existing and group accounts.
  • Conducting strategic account mapping and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including CXOs.
  • Participating in and leading Executive Business Reviews (EBRs).
  • Analyzing business potential and executing sales strategies to meet targets.
  • Implementing processes to enhance deliverable quality and reduce turnaround times.
  • Managing conflict resolution and ensuring compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
  • Identifying client goals and representing their interests internally.
  • Collaborating with project and Customer Success Management (CSM) teams to monitor account status and identify potential issues or opportunities.
  • Proactively identifying risks within enterprise accounts.
  • Facilitating customer references and case studies.
  • Providing strong account management and keeping clients informed of new products and services.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in enterprise account management and sales within the SaaS industry. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience, with at least 4 years in a customer-facing role such as customer success or account management within a SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Arabic is mandatory.
  • A Masters degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • Experience with analytics, data, databases, or business intelligence is preferred.
  • Experience in digital marketing products will be an added advantage.
