About the Account Representative Role

SITA is seeking an Account Representative to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on driving profitable growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing business opportunities within the global air travel industry. SITA provides technology and communication innovations that support airports, airlines, and border control, working with over 2,500 transportation and government clients worldwide.

Role Purpose and Team Collaboration

The Account Representative serves as the primary owner of the customer relationship, acting as a trusted advisor. This role involves working closely with account team members to achieve strategic objectives. The position requires managing multiple accounts across Saudi Arabia and ensuring all account management matters are handled effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive all sales activities to meet short- and long-term objectives and formulate strategic account growth plans.
  • Develop and implement documented business plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage and cultivate strong relationships with customers.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer business needs to identify opportunities and plan for SITA's business development.
  • Represent SITA at industry events.
  • Build a sales pipeline for future growth in collaboration with Business Development, ensuring accurate sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with virtual teams across Business Development, Solution Design, Commercial Management, Bid Management, and Pricing Management functions, delegating work and supporting team development.
  • Support cash collection activities by resolving commercial issues that may impede payment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in a sales function, preferably within the Transport Industry or IT sector.
  • Minimum BA or BSc degree, or equivalent business professional experience.
  • Proven experience in building customer relationships at decision-making levels.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales and revenue growth targets.
  • Experience managing sales in large and complex deals, including financial structuring, negotiations, and closing.
  • Successful experience in business development and pipeline management in a high-turnover environment.
  • Experience in facilitating and driving account development plans.
  • Positive customer service experience.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.

Additional Considerations

Experience with the KSA travel and transport markets is considered an advantage.
