AH64 Mechanic

About the Role

GDC Middle East (الشركة السعودية لتهيئة وصيانة الطائرات) is seeking an AH64 Mechanic to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves performing essential aircraft maintenance tasks on AH-64 aircraft, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with established procedures. The position requires 4 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance tasks on the AH-64 using OEM Operators Manuals, Maintenance Test Flight Manuals, Check List Manuals, and other pertinent directives.
• Ensure AH-64 aircraft maintenance activities are planned, coordinated, integrated, and synchronized to achieve operational readiness objectives.
• Comply with established maintenance systems, processes, procedures, and reporting for platform readiness rates.
• Establish daily maintenance operational goals, objectives, and priorities to achieve readiness rates and MNG training objectives.
• Oversee daily maintenance management of assigned aircraft in support of the Production Control (PC) Manager.
• Work within maintenance quality control processes, procedures, and standards.
• Direct inquiries, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance of UH-60M Aircraft and supporting activities to the PC Manager.
• Supervise assigned individuals.
• Ensure all maintenance operations and related support activities are conducted safely.
• Support the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) process and procedure in coordination with the PC Manager.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the PC Manager.

Required Skills and Duties

• Remove and install aircraft systems and subsystem assemblies and components, including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls, and their components.
• Service and lubricate aircraft systems, subsystems, and components.
• Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions.
• Utilize common measuring tools, precision measuring gauges, and alignment fixtures.
• Conduct routine and special inspections of aircraft and related components.
• Perform maintenance operational checks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required.
• Use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE).
• Prepare aircraft maintenance forms and records.
• Conduct MNG OJT training as required.
• Ensure all related maintenance operations are conducted safely.

Qualifications and Experience

• 4 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Proficiency in performing maintenance tasks on AH-64 aircraft.
• Familiarity with OEM Operators Manuals, Maintenance Test Flight Manuals, and Check List Manuals.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft subsystems.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols in all maintenance operations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on maintaining AH-64 aircraft. The role involves working within established maintenance systems and procedures, often under the guidance of a Production Control Manager, and includes supervisory responsibilities as assigned.
