The Role of Appian Developer UI & Data Fabric

CodeNinja Inc. is seeking an Appian Developer specializing in UI & Data Fabric for a full-time, onsite position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves building user-facing interfaces and the Data Fabric layer of Appian applications for a leading bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The developer will be responsible for delivering fast, accessible, and bilingual (Arabic/English) experiences on top of a well-modeled, secure data layer. This position requires strong hands-on Appian experience with depth in UI and data modeling and is open to all nationalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive SAIL interfaces, sites, portals, and reusable UI component libraries.
• Deliver bilingual Arabic/English interfaces with RTL layouts and translation sets.
• Design record types, relationships, record actions, and record-level security within Data Fabric.
• Unify data from bank systems (core banking, CRM, data warehouse) through synced and non-synced record types.
• Build dashboards and reports for operations, management, and compliance users.
• Tune interface and query performance, including local variables, paging, sync strategies, and query efficiency.
• Apply accessibility (WCAG) and bank UX/branding standards.
• Implement data masking and row-level security for customer data in line with PDPL.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 10 years of total experience, with at least 6 years of hands-on Appian development.
• Appian Certified Senior Developer (mandatory).
• Expertise in SAIL, interface design patterns, and Appian Portals/Sites.
• Strong Appian Data Fabric skills, including record types, sync, relationships, custom record fields, and record-level security.
• Proficiency in data modeling and SQL (views, indexes, stored procedures).
• A strong understanding of UX principles, with experience collaborating with UX/UI designers.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• A notice period of 1 month, or immediate joiners preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Appian AI features (AI Skills, document extraction, AI Copilot).
• Familiarity with Appian Component Plug-ins (React/JavaScript).
• Figma familiarity.
• Customer-facing portal experience in the banking sector.
