Appian QA & Automation Engineer

About the Role

Halian is seeking an Appian QA & Automation Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance, specifically within Appian or comparable low-code platforms. The role focuses on defining and executing comprehensive testing strategies and developing automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and performance of Appian applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute testing strategies covering functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks specifically for Appian applications.
• Build API and integration testing capabilities utilizing modern automation tools and frameworks.
• Embed testing processes within CI/CD pipelines and release management practices.
• Conduct load, performance, and stress testing for critical workflows and business processes.
• Validate role-based security, segregation of duties controls, audit logging, and compliance requirements.
• Manage test data, test environments, and production-like datasets.
• Lead defect management activities through identification, remediation, retesting, and closure.
• Produce quality metrics, reporting, and testing dashboards for project and program stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• At least 4 years of experience testing Appian or comparable Business Process Management (BPM) / low-code platforms.
• Strong background in automation testing and enterprise application quality management.
