About the Role

UNIMAC - United Maintenance and Contracting Company is seeking an Architecture BIM Modeler to join the Design & Engineering / BIM Management team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role supports a high-profile, large-scale development project that integrates high-end architectural fit-outs with extensive site infrastructure. The position requires advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Civil 3D, with a demonstrated ability to manage data integration between architectural and civil models on complex projects.

The role demands a thorough understanding of complex infrastructure and mixed-use development, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail and the integration of diverse design elements. The successful candidate will ensure spatial accuracy and seamless coordination across multiple disciplines for large-scale, complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and maintain the Project Shared Coordinate System between Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Revit to ensure spatial alignment between site layout and architectural assets.
• Develop LOD 300/400 models for complex internal architectural fit-outs, including interior layouts, millwork, joinery, and architectural finishes using Autodesk Revit.
• Reference site surfaces, terrain models, alignments, corridors, and pipe networks using Autodesk Civil 3D to coordinate building interfaces with the civil engineering team.
• Model and manage structural-to-civil transition assets, interface retaining structures, external pavement interfaces, and site-wide utilities.
• Utilize Navisworks and BIM Collaborate Pro for automated clash detection between architectural fit-outs, structural frames, MEP services, and civil utilities, and perform clash triage.
• Identify and resolve spatial conflicts where the building envelope meets the external site environment, such as floor level-to-grading transitions and drainage at building thresholds.
• Implement data-management strategies, including work-sharing and model linking, to segment large datasets and ensure model stability.
• Extract constructible shop drawings, internal elevations, joinery details, and material take-offs from the BIM environment.
• Ensure all digital assets comply with Project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO 19650 standards, and local building and infrastructure codes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required.
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional BIM modeling experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience working on mega-projects (valued at $100M+ USD) with structured delivery schedules is essential.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience on large-scale transit hubs, airports, major commercial complexes, or mixed-use infrastructure projects.

Required Skills

• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including advanced family creation, template management, phases, and work-sharing.
• Advanced understanding of Autodesk Civil 3D, including surfaces, terrain modeling, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networks.
• Advanced proficiency in coordination tools such as Navisworks Manage and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), including BIM 360.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of Dynamo for automation is advantageous.
• Strong capabilities in BIM Modeling and Cross-Platform Integration.
• Proven experience in Multi-Disciplinary Coordination and Clash Resolution.
• Proficiency in creating Construction Documentation.
• Thorough understanding and adherence to Standards Compliance.
• Rigorous attention to detail, with a critical eye for spatial accuracy and understanding of building-to-site utility connections.
• Excellent collaborative communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information between disciplines.
• A strong problem-solving mindset, focused on resolving multi-disciplinary technical coordination challenges early in the design phase.
