About the Role

UNIMAC - United Maintenance and Contracting Company is seeking a Senior Architecture BIM Modeler with 5-10 years of experience to join their engineering team in Riyadh. This full-time position is for a high-profile, large-scale development project that requires expertise in both architectural fit-outs and site infrastructure.

Role Context and Responsibilities

This specialized role bridges the gap between detailed architectural elements and extensive site infrastructure. The Senior BIM Modeler will be responsible for ensuring spatial accuracy and seamless integration between different project components. Key responsibilities include:

• Establishing and maintaining the Project Shared Coordinate System between Civil 3D and Revit for precise alignment.
• Developing detailed LOD 300/400 models for complex interior fit-outs, including millwork and finishes, using Revit.
• Assisting the civil engineering team with site infrastructure modeling in Civil 3D, including surfaces, terrain, alignments, and utility networks.
• Modeling and managing transition assets between structural and civil elements, as well as site-wide utilities.
• Utilizing Navisworks and BIM Collaborate Pro for clash detection and resolution across architectural, structural, MEP, and civil disciplines.
• Proactively identifying and resolving spatial conflicts at building-to-site interfaces, such as grading transitions and utility entry points.
• Implementing data management strategies, including work-sharing and model linking, to ensure model stability and performance.
• Extracting constructible shop drawings, elevations, joinery details, and material take-offs from the BIM environment.
• Ensuring all digital assets comply with Project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO 19650 standards, and local codes.

Required Technical Skills and Software Expertise

Candidates must possess advanced proficiency in key BIM software and coordination tools:

• Autodesk Revit: Expert knowledge, including advanced family creation, template management, phases, and work-sharing.
• Autodesk Civil 3D: Advanced proficiency in surfaces, terrain modeling, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networks.
• Coordination Tools: Advanced proficiency in Navisworks Manage and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
• Dynamo: Basic to intermediate understanding for automation of modeling tasks is highly advantageous.

Experience and Educational Background

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale projects:

• Professional Experience: 7–10 years of professional BIM modeling experience. Previous experience on large-scale transit hubs, airports, major commercial complexes, or mixed-use infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Project Scale: Proven experience on mega-projects (valued at $100M+ USD) with demanding delivery schedules.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
