About the Role at Qiddiya

Qiddiya is seeking an Assistant Manager Asset Infrastructure Design to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to the strategic design and delivery of robust IT infrastructure solutions that support the company's ambitious objectives.

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager Asset Infrastructure Design is responsible for the comprehensive design, planning, and delivery of enterprise IT infrastructure solutions. This position involves leading technical coordination with vendors and stakeholders to ensure that all infrastructure projects are delivered securely, efficiently, and in full compliance with organizational standards. The role also drives continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and contributing to infrastructure strategy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and govern vendor implementation activities, ensuring compliance with project scope, quality standards, timelines, security policies, and organizational governance requirements.
  • Review and validate infrastructure designs, provide technical guidance, resolve installation and design challenges, and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
  • Research emerging technologies, evaluate industry best practices, recommend infrastructure enhancements, and contribute to the organization's IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Act as the Technical Project Manager for assigned infrastructure initiatives, coordinating between internal stakeholders, business units, consultants, vendors, and asset contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support the planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure assets, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and future business readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, architects, and business owners to gather requirements, communicate project progress, and manage technical expectations.
  • Identify technical risks, ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements, and implement mitigation plans throughout project delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design standards, implementation plans, project reports, and governance updates while ensuring proper change management and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions are fully tested, documented, and operationally ready before production handover, supporting smooth transition to operations and support teams.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend improvements to enhance availability, resilience, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in infrastructure implementation and management.
  • Demonstrated experience with Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, contributing to a dynamic and evolving infrastructure landscape.
