About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an Assistant Manager for Corporate Procurement to support the company's procurement strategies and operations. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, requires a professional to collaborate closely with various internal departments to ensure procurement activities align with company objectives and compliance standards. The role is suitable for individuals with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager - Corporate Procurement will be responsible for a range of duties to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes. These include:

  • Assisting in the development and execution of corporate procurement plans and strategies.
  • Managing procurement activities such as request for proposals (RFPs), vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and purchase orders.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintaining and updating procurement databases to ensure accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance.
  • Supporting supplier relationship management, including monitoring supplier performance and contract compliance.
  • Collaborating with finance and legal teams to ensure procurement activities adhere to budgetary and regulatory requirements.
  • Preparing procurement reports and documentation for management review.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and achieve cost savings.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, with a preference for experience within corporate or large project environments.
  • Familiarity with procurement policies, procedures, and contract management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are considered an advantage.

Required Skills

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong capabilities in the following areas:

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a beneficial addition.
