About the Cisco Sales Associates Program (CSAP)

Cisco is offering the Cisco Sales Associates Program (CSAP), a 12-month global accelerator designed to develop high-potential individuals into sales professionals. This program follows a structured approach of education, exposure, and experience, providing a clear path for career progression within Cisco.

Program Structure and Development

The program begins with an intensive 3-month Bootcamp at the Bedfont Lakes Hub, focusing on foundational skill-building. Following this, participants will engage in three rotational assignments from month 3 to month 12, also at the Bedfont Lakes Hub. These rotations offer real-world sales experience, complemented by quarterly competency checkpoints. Upon successful completion of the 12-month program, participants will transition into an Inside Account Executive role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to focus on driving customer outcomes and building relationships.

Role Responsibilities and Learning

During the program, you will train alongside a diverse cohort, building a professional network. The hub environment provides a setting for skill mastery through AI customer simulations and mentored on-the-job activities. You will collaborate with Cisco Associate Solutions Engineers to deliver technical solutions that achieve business objectives. Your expertise will expand across Collaboration, Security, Networking, and Cloud technologies. Learning will be guided by industry experts and coaches, utilizing Cisco's technology. Each participant will be paired with a mentor who is a CSAP alumnus. The program aims to equip you with industry-standard certifications and the expertise needed for technical sales opportunities within Cisco.

AI-First Mandate and Career Progression

A core component of this program is the AI-First Mandate. As an Associate Sales Representative, you will develop strong AI skills by using advanced learning platforms and artificial intelligence to design technical solutions and enhance strategic decision-making. This trajectory is designed for accelerated career growth. High-performing individuals can validate their skills through quarterly checkpoints and potentially transition into quota-carrying roles before the program concludes. Upon completion, as an Inside Account Executive in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, you will join the Global Virtual Sales team, connecting customers with Cisco technologies and partnering with Solutions Engineers to identify opportunities and build customer relationships.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications

  • A recent undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline, or equivalent professional experience through apprenticeships or vocational programs, with up to 2 years of professional experience.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of hire without company sponsorship.
  • Willingness to relocate to Bedfont Lakes (London) for the 12-month training period.
  • While Business, STEM, and Management degrees are valued, applicants from non-traditional backgrounds (Liberal Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences) with strong critical thinking, digital fluency, and creative problem-solving skills are encouraged.
  • Demonstrated social media proficiency and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools for prospecting and market analysis.
  • High emotional intelligence, interpersonal tenacity, and strategic creativity for navigating complex decision-making processes.
  • Commercial resilience, with the ability to handle setbacks and maintain focus on revenue targets.
  • Strong storytelling and negotiation skills to align client business challenges with Cisco's technological solutions.
