This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Role of BIM Modeler

ALEC FITOUT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced BIM Modeler to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and reports directly to the BIM Coordinator. The BIM Modeler will collaborate with BIM professionals, designers, and engineers to support project delivery through detailed 3D models and construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Tender and IFC information models (2D drawings, BIM models, and asset data) in line with ISO 19650 standards.
• Model design documents and details using Revit, extracting plans, sections, elevations, and schedules.
• Modify and maintain well-structured, healthy BIM models according to industry best practices.
• Assist in converting 2D CAD or construction documents into intelligent 3D models.
• Perform clash detection and support clash avoidance across various disciplines.
• Ensure model QA/QC and provide support to coordination teams during design and construction phases.
• Support document creation and management for as-built modeling and project handover.
• Maintain templates, content libraries, and ensure adherence to project standards.
• Update models based on RFIs, design changes, and engineer instructions.
• Identify discrepancies in contract documents and notify relevant team members.
• Provide timely and accurate data to the BIM Coordinator and project team.
• Pass completed work to the document controller for proper filing and issue.
