About the Branch Sales Manager Role

alfanar Electric is seeking a Branch Sales Manager for its wholesale operations in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a candidate with 5-10 years of experience to oversee branch operations, drive sales performance, and ensure efficient management of resources and customer relations. The role focuses on leading the sales team, optimizing inventory, and achieving sales targets within a dynamic wholesale environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the wholesale branch sales team to achieve set objectives.
  • Analyze internal and external market environments to identify strategic opportunities and threats.
  • Develop and execute sales activities aligned with the company's overall strategy.
  • Monitor market variables and competitor activities, providing actionable insights.
  • Control branch expenses and manage credit facilities to mitigate risk and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain consistent communication with traders to gather feedback and address concerns.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the branch's marketing plan.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage, inventory management, and delivery procedures.
  • Coordinate with the supply department to meet branch inventory needs.
  • Organize delivery routes for improved efficiency.
  • Ensure optimal management of branch resources, facilities, and administrative matters.
  • Monitor fixed assets and company vehicles, managing repair and maintenance decisions.

Leadership and Team Management

This role requires strong HR proficiency, including the ability to recruit, develop, and manage high-performing individuals. It involves recognizing and guiding underperformers, ensuring equitable treatment of subordinates, and basing assessment criteria on performance that leads to planned results. The manager must ensure a clear delegation of authority matrix is in place, adhering to company policy.

Operational Excellence and Business Planning

The Branch Sales Manager is accountable for the overall operation of the branch, taking full responsibility for deliverables and adhering to company guidelines. This includes anticipating and proactively preventing problems, making timely and proper decisions, and ensuring results are delivered with the required quality and cost. The role involves transforming corporate goals into actionable business plans, monitoring their execution, and initiating corrective actions.
