About the Role

Al-Ayuni Investment and Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Budget and Cost Control Lead Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing project budgeting, cost control, and financial performance across major infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle. This includes supporting accurate forecasting, detailed reporting, and strategic financial decision-making for complex projects within the company's portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and management of project budgets, including initial and revised estimates.
• Monitor project costs, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain budget performance.
• Manage project forecasting activities, including Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC).
• Review project progress, earned value, and cost performance to ensure alignment between schedule and budget.
• Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and financial performance analyses for management.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of cost data within ERP systems.
• Evaluate budget change requests and assess their financial impact.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to support effective cost planning and control.
• Support project close-out activities, including final cost analysis and financial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in budgeting and cost control, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven experience working on infrastructure projects.
• Professional Project Management certification (*, PMP) is preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of project cost management, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting principles.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
