About the Role
Bayut KSA, the leading property portal in the Kingdom and part of Dubizzle Group, is seeking a Business Development Manager for its daily rentals division. This role is based in Riyadh and operates on a full-time basis. The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in expanding the short-term rental inventory and enhancing the host experience.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will lead host acquisition, cultivate strategic partnerships, and drive operational process improvements for Bayut KSA's short-term rental platform. The primary focus is on growing the host portfolio, strengthening relationships with property owners, and streamlining internal systems to achieve higher occupancy rates, improve the host experience, and ensure scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pitch, and onboard new hosts and property partners to expand the short-term rental inventory.
- Develop and implement host acquisition strategies to increase listings in key locations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and partnership agreements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for hosts, managing onboarding and ongoing support.
- Oversee daily coordination of listings, availability, pricing, and operational readiness.
- Ensure host satisfaction through structured communication, issue resolution, and performance feedback.
- Review operational workflows to identify and address inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance system processes and platform usability.
- Support automation and digitization initiatives for improved scalability and data accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rate, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and host retention.
- Optimize listing visibility and pricing strategies to maximize performance.
- Stay informed about local regulations, licensing, and compliance requirements for short-term rentals.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve host or guest issues.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in property management, hospitality, short-term rentals, or business development.
- Understanding of listing management, occupancy optimization, and pricing strategies.
- Proven experience in host acquisition, negotiating commercial terms, and scaling inventory.
- Familiarity with local laws, licensing, and legal requirements for short-term rentals.
- Ability to track and interpret KPIs such as ADR, occupancy rate, and revenue per unit.
- Strong host acquisition, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Hands-on experience with booking platforms and property management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes and manage multiple workflows efficiently.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
