Role Summary: Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing relationships with new clients and providing support to continually improve relationships with existing clients. This role involves understanding client development strategies and aspirations to strategically position Havelock One Interiors as a partner in future developmental projects. The position is full-time and based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, though work on projects across the country will be required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect for potential new clients to increase business, including overseeing marketing and account strategy.
• Research and build relationships with new clients and identify new projects in selective sectors.
• Utilize internal and external tools to compile a project opportunity pipeline and establish action plans for each opportunity based on agreed targets.
• Collaborate with the projects team to develop proposals that address client needs, concerns, and objectives.
• Arrange and participate in meetings between client decision-makers and company Directors/Principals.
• Address objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences to achieve positive conclusions.
• Build and enhance new client relationships and arrange internal and external client debriefs.
• Attend industry functions, association events, and conferences, providing feedback on market and creative trends.
• Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s capabilities and goals to enhance performance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in business development, preferably within the interior fit-out or related industry.
• Thorough knowledge of the market, company solutions/services, and competitive advantages.
• Demonstrated ability to establish a robust network of relationships with work providers, including designers and consultants.
• Proven strategic planning capabilities for future business development.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work on projects across Saudi Arabia.

Work Environment

Havelock One Interiors offers an established work environment with a loyal and respectful corporate culture. The KSA office is located in Riyadh, but the role requires working on various projects throughout the country.
