Business Development Staff

About the Role

Stylo is seeking a Business Development Staff member to join its team in Riyadh. This freelance role focuses on developing business relationships with buyers and distributors for fresh produce and fish across the hospitality, food service, and FMCG channels. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Business Development Staff will be responsible for expanding Stylo's market presence by targeting key segments within the fresh produce and fish industry. Candidates from diverse commercial backgrounds are encouraged to apply; prior experience in aquaponics or hydroponics is not a prerequisite for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies targeting supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, caterers, processors, and distributors.
• Identify hospitality and FMCG retail segments to ensure consistent produce offtake.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity across fresh produce, food service, and FMCG sectors.
• Negotiate and manage offtake contracts and pricing agreements.
• Grow existing accounts, support timely deliveries and consistent quality, and resolve customer concerns.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure sales commitments are supported by adequate supply.
• Deliver timely sales forecasts and market reports to management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Commerce, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within fresh produce, food and beverage, hospitality, or FMCG.
• Demonstrated track record of winning and growing key accounts. An existing network of food, retail, or hospitality buyers is considered an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Knowledge of aquaponics, hydroponics, or organic farming is a plus, but not a mandatory requirement.
• Genuine interest in sustainability, urban agriculture, and healthy food systems.
